Insurance and payment methods
Since many insurance companies elect to cover acupuncture, massage therapy, naturopathy or other alternative treatments, your treatments are possibly covered under your group insurance policy if you have one. You can find related information on insurance benefits in the booklet issued to the insured or simply call the insurance company for the information. If you would like us to bill your insurance company directly for your treatments, call your insurance agent for the possibility. Please don't hesitate to contact us for any assistance. In case, insurance company doesn't allow direct billing, you can ask a receipt from the clinic and send it to the insurance company for the reimbursement.
The professional fee is due when service is rendered unless direct billing is confirmed from your insurance company. We currently accept cash and personal check only.
We accept new patients from Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) and Commission de la Santé et de la Securité du Travail (CSST). A prescription from your physician is required to process your request for acupuncture treatment. To facilitate the process, please send us following documents:
- a doctor's prescription specifying acupuncture treatment
- your full name, telephone number
- assigned dossier's number, responsible agent's name, and her/his fax number
Once we receive authorization from SAAQ or CSST, we shall advise you of the appointment time. SAAQ or CSST will directly pay the clinic, you will have no hassle to handle payment issues.
