Professional fees and insurance coverage
We try hard to make our high quality treatments affordable to most of patients. Our fees are
reasonable, competitive and transparent. They are charged on the basis of expertise, experience and clinic features.
At A1 Clinique Chinoise, professional fees are advised before any treatment.
Any acupuncture accessory such as TDP heating Lamp, electrical stimulation or cupping is free of charge if necessary (most of clinics will charge you a fee).
On top of these, an effective treatment means better results, quicker recovery
and less treatments: you have good health with less
treatment cost and travelling time.
Professional fees are frequently covered by group or private insurance plan. It is always wise to refer to the insurance benefit booklet for details or call your insurance company for coverage. You can request a receipt from the clinic, and send it by mail or online to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you need any assistance.
Professional fee is due when service is rendered. We accept cash,
personal check and e-transfer. Neither credit card nor debit card is acceptable.

Note to patients covered by SAAQ and CNESST
We accept new patients from le Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) and Commission des normes, de l'équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST). To facilitate the process, please send us:
- doctor's prescription for acupuncture treatment
- your full name, telephone number, dossier's number
- responsible agent's name and phone number
Once we receive authorization from SAAQ or CSST, we shall advise you of the appointment time. To speed up the process, it is recommended that a patient check the progress with your responsible agent. Sometimes the authorization takes abnormally long time, a patient can immediately start acupuncture treatment by paying directly to the clinic, and sends a receipt to CSST for reimbursement.
Notes to Quebec patients:
Quebec Acupuncture Act stipulates that an acupuncturist is not allowed to use title Dr. or doctor in the province. Any title Dr. used for an acupuncturist in the web site indicates his/her previous educational background and professional experience in other countries.
