What do I expect during first visit?

During the first visit, you should bring any medical documents to your pratitioner. You will be asked to fill out a questionnaire with regard to your medical history and basic personal information. Your practitioner will obtain a complete picture of your health state, daily diet, habit, behavior which may contribute to the condition.

During the consultation, it is very important for patients to describer all of your symptoms and daily physical activities in details, since a doctor of traditional Chinese medicine including acupuncturist depends heavily on your subjective description. After thorough Chinese medical examine, your practitioner will explain to you possible diagnosis and personalized treatment plan. It is followed by a treatment right away. Sometimes the clinic has to order herbs or natural products for a patient.

How often and how many sessions do I need treatments

For acupuncture or Tuina manual therapy, it usually requires 2 times per week for several weeks. When your symptoms are significantly reduced, your treatment frequency will be adjusted accordingly. For Chinese herbal medicine, we prepare herbs every 5-10 days and ajdust the herbal formula upon renewal. For naturopathic consultation, we usually meet every 2-4 weeks. In general, the frequency of treatment depends on the nature of an illness and is decided on the first visit.

In order to make your treatment more effective, you are recommended that you follow your practitioner's advise. Clinically, many patients tends to compromise their treatment frequency and length, which can really affect outcome of a treatment due to "insufficient dosage" effects. At our clinic, our practitioner acts in the best interests of our patients rather than financial interest.

In our clinic, most of patients always say that it is much better than what they imagined.
